**UPDATED** Screecap of Solution Revealing Destination added. Thanks to Dreyesbo.
**POTENTIAL SPOILER**
Hey All,
Many of you I am sure have found the Origami Ball instructions.
Here are the details and screencaps for those that can not find it.
If anyone has put this together and has taken a picture of what it looks like or is on the inside, please send them in.
Thanks Keeping Pace for the heads up.
Also, if you click on "Ajira Adventures" and then scroll down to the blurb about Island Adventures, there is a link to a pdf file w/ detailed instructions about how to fold your boarding pass into an origami ball, along w/ the curious line "you never know what you might find hiding right inside." I have a feeling that the info on the ticket rearranges itself to spell out a hidden message!

Hummm...we made these exact "balls" when we were kids. I just have no clue how it relates to Ajira...
After folding this ball and looking through the hole the location "GUM" which stands for Guam is right in the middle of the other sight. That could be a clue because Guam is situated in the Pacific Ocean where the island is supposed to be although the place where the Oceanic 6 arrived in civilication (Sumba) is quite a distance away
Thanks all. Will update soon.
@Maa...curious, bc when I did mine the code BWU (code for Bankstown, Australia) with the word "destination" under it was in the middle. But I may have folded it wrong. Reminded me of the cootie catchers when we were kids while doing the folding bit. LOL
I got GUM too, but in fairness I did a very rough job of it. I couldn't get the boarding pass to print correctly, so had to wing it a bit.
I'm annoyed. I spent ages doing it earlier and I only realized that you need the boarding pass to do it.
I've no printer. :(
FAO ODI:
I've had a couple of other reports on Lostpedia about it pointing to GUM. Also see the following info from Lostpedia (I haven't checked the authenticity of this yet):
"The boarding pass lists lat/lon coordinates of 13 29 02N horizontally, and 144 47 50E vertically by the bar-code, which is the Guam International Airport."
Note, it's right - if you do 13 29.02' N, 144 47.50' E on Google Earth, you get Guam International Airport. Solved.
What do you think about "Book A Flight" form? When you choose Departing: 01/21/2009 you will get access to flights. One of them is 316 - 11:30 am. Maybe when form is filled correct it unlocks something?
I've tried tons of combos for booking a flight but it doesnt seem to work.
Maybe the O6 + Whoever Else take Ajira Flight 316 at 11:30 AM to get back to the island? lol
And it's supposed to be to Guam?
Another hint that Guam is the right destination (though whether to or from we have no idea) is the hint in the source code on the "About Us" page:
"Where America's Day Begins"
This very same phrase, when searched for on Google, gives tons of results for Guam because "Where America's Day Begins" is Guam's motto. It's even mentioned on the official website of Guam International Airport, which is what that GUM on the boarding pass stands for.
On the same site it is also revealed that the full official name of the airport is Antonio B. Won Pat International. All of the little blurbs on the "Ajira Adventures" page were posted by one Antonio B. MacCutcheon :)
So yeah, it's definitely Guam!
What year do we think it is when Jack and Ben are scooping everyone up? 2004? The Ajira site says it will book flights through 1/21/09, so maybe we are looking for 5 adults and 1 child on a past date (2004?) leaving from ? to Guam.
@badwobot:
The O6 & co. left the Island shortly after Christmas/close to New Year's, and then a few weeks later first took the raft to Sumba. Therefore they didn't even get back to civilization until it was 2005. And in the S3 finale Jack is looking at an obituary for Bentham which came from a paper dated mid/late 2007, so it can't be anytime before around June - Sept. '07 that Ben & Jack starting trying to get the old band back together...
Definitely not going to be 2004 though, no matter how ya cut it.
how I get a boarding pass?
Antonio B. MacCutcheon is also (abbreviated, without the Mac) ABC...double entendre i suppose
