On the Dharma Wants You website there is an XML file with the following assets. Anyone with any Flash debugging tools want to see if anything can be gleaned from the files below?
<property id="bin" value="http://wdig.vo.llnwd.net/d1/mktg/DWY/" />

wdig , doesnt that stand for walt disney internet group?
and seeing as abc is part of disney , imo i dont think theres any leads on it.
its worth checkin out by someone with a good XML background though i guess.
Now i don't have much experience with flash stuff but here some weird stuff i found, not sure how significant or what. Again i apologize if i am being completely stupid and just giving you guys the same info or just meaningless dribble
Error: ECB mode cipher length must be a multiple of blocksize 8
at com.hurlant.crypto.symmetric::ECBMode/decrypt()
at au.com.hoodlum.wife2.net::INCA2Proxy/onCompleteHandler()
at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEventFunction()
at flash.events::EventDispatcher/dispatchEvent()
at flash.net::URLLoader/onComplete()
No idea what this means though
Just a brain fart... but maybe "Wife2" is what Hoodlum is calling the ARG internally.
I think wife2 is now, the next updated one will be inca2
I think it may be updating
ive never had problems but now im getting a blue screen....ths might just be me but ive never had problems before
I got this. I'm a Flash programmer. Gimme a bit.
Thanks Angelo, good luck :)
I've briefly looked through all the flash files, and did see anything hidden so far.
I was thinking Wife2 might be the name of the voice.
One interesting thing to note (even though we all assumed it), there is no text in the Eligibility Test SWF for a "fail", only for "pass".

LostARGs.com
Thanks Dennis, odd that.
Angelo...
whatdoesitmeanwhatdoesitmean.....o_O
I don't see anything fancy yet. Right on, Dennis, about the no fail thing, though.
Why can't you guys just wait for the story to play out? Doesn't finding things out early ruin the surprise of it all?
lol moviemaniac, this is a spoiler site!!!
Nope, not for me :)
And as there is nothing to do a little research and investigation is just a nice way to spend some time.
Plus the creators know we are going to poke/prod/hack anything they give us, so its very possible they will hide clues or parts of the story in any file. Unless they slip and forget to hide something.
@ moviemaniac226:
The thing is this is an ARG, so, if done properly, there will be things like this to explore and potentially find clues in. If done right the ARG will provide opportunities to hunt down clues and since we don't know when this will occur we should explore every available option.
Obviously some of us (like me) want to be surprised, but given the nature of an online experience we are expected to solve clues to get to them.
Hope that provides some sense of why posts like this may pop up. ;)
